Minecraft Pigmen Gold Tower / Farm version 2
In the Nether
Supplies: 750Gold nuggets/hour
Same in raw meat but I don't collect it anymore ...
It used to drop loads of pork, all the chests in the video are mainly still filled with cooked pork.

Some important things:
* We used 2 high pistons for best effect on both pigmen and cubes.
* All pistons are on a timer.
* 288x288 area covered with 1/2 stone to make sure all spawn in tower.
* Pigmen have 22 health death drop of min 25(30better) will be needed
* collection area is below a zig zag pistons that move the drops down.
* Last 4 blocks are 2 glass and 2 fences to that the drops can fall down between, and cubes cannot.
* The 2x2 crusher/suffication timed trap is there to kill the magma cubes.
- magma cubes sometimes survive the fall when they warp into a wall. (This seems to be currently a bug of some sort, but the crusher solves this problem)

We upgraded the old tower since before 1.0. Because it was needed for all the magma cubes and other changes.

Amount of pistons used: 1792 :D

V2 vs V1:

We removed the inner platforms (see version 1) because pigmen would remain on the platforms too long before reaching the outer walls, resulting in a lot of unwanted despawns.

Plans:

We're contemplating about adding simple spawning platforms (bars) with timed pistons to increase the spawn-locations and to try to have pigmen fall to death because:

quicker death = quicker respawn = more gold! o/

Final tip: do not use pressure-plate triggered pistons.
