It is built by Jacques -Luc Coulomb engineer, nephew of François Coulomb and the future chief structural engineer for the Navy ( 1765 ) . The building is set Brest housing 1 June 1758 and launched in May 1759. It is the same size as the previous one but has a different artillery. Drilled 16 ports , it embarks 32 guns 36 pounds the first battery , 34 of 24 for the second, 34 of 12 in the third , 8 guns on the forecastle , 10 to 8 on the forecastle back , totaling 116 canons . the sculptures of the stern and bow are the work of Caffieri illustrates master carver whose family has contributed to the evolution of the navale decoration.
