I guess most people have already worked out how to make one of these, but here's my one anyway :)
This is the first of many Redstone projects i have planned for my single player world.

Ps: If you want to copy the way I've done my circuitry, under each piston there is a block then under the block there is an inverter. Sorry if that didn't make sense :S

I'll post a world save of it.

I like it. ^^ I might use on my server to complete a big reveal of some sort, like have a huge lava moat around something and then CREATE a bridge so people can get over to it.

Thanks ^^ i think I will have to use the world save though Im TERRIBLE with redstone even if i can see a picture that outlines how to use it >.<.

ok so...go with me here, I make the system, but the bridge isnt built yet. I flip a switch and the bridge REPAIRS itself over the gap so they can walk across it. Otherwise there's no point for a bridge like this, cuz if its griefers breaking the bridge they will just break the machine too. Its good for revealing stuff.
