THE BEST MINECRAFT SHANGHAI PROJECT IN THE WORLD!!!!
Shanghai is one of the largest cities in China. Since the Song Dynasty, the Jiangnan area where Shanghai is located is one of the richest areas in China. After the opening of the port of Shanghai during 19~20th century, Shanghai became an international metropolis in the East, and once again moved towards new prosperity after the reform and opening up of PRC.
This Shanghai project is built in 1:2 scale. The progress of this map is still very low, because Shanghai is too big to be built completely in minecraft. But the authors will try their best to build key areas. The areas like Lujiazui CBD, the Bund, people's square area, Huaihai Middle Road area, are already highly completed. You can see them in the pictures. In the future, the authors may build other important areas, such as Xujiahui, Huanqiu port, Wujiaochang, Qiantan, North Bund, Dishui Lake, Zhangjiang Hi-tech Park, Hongqiao Railway Station, Hongqiao International Airport, Pudong International Airport, etc. Of course, these are lifetime series...... In addition, in another project, an our team member built a 1:1 scale Shanghai station and republic new road area. History of building Shanghai in Minecraft:
Another member of our team called ForeverT, is the first player in China's minecraft community that tried to build Lujiazui as early as 2014.
Since then, many Chinese minecraft players have begun to try to build Lujiazui in minecraft. And a member of our team called PEKA22, made a complete Lujiazui skyline in 2017: https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/gn-shanghai-skyscraper-area-hong-city/
Back to this project, it was built around 2017 at primary stage, then, it is no longer confined to Lujiazui, but has been extended to the downtown area in Puxi, which is the main downtown area of Shanghai. This project has also become the best Shanghai replica among minecraft community in China and even in the world. There are only two main authors who have completed such a project step by step, for more than 4 years. Anyway, hope you like it.
