I was planning to do my first floating Island, but I wasn't really sure what and how it should be designed like.
Well after seeing CubicinCubic's floating Island it hit me, esspecially since there was no download for it, it drove me mad, so I just had to make one myself. His style pretty much inspired me, mixed in with my own ideas.

But if you mean floating islands in general, well its interesting to have a limited space and build on it, plus it looks interesting a floating island.
May not be your taste judging from your question but I and loads of others enjoy floating island maps =]

I'd love to upload the project I am working on now, the one where I lost my bloody ship...
Lucky that I didn't lose both my ships.
First time I terraformed as well. I guess I'll have to redo that ship and try to make it better then before.
But you could link me so I know what you mean, and I would love to see it for myself if there is a resemblence. :D
In any way, it can only mean I'm on the right path if I build stuff like this without knowing that famous people did before me aswell. =]
