Some time after completing The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, I realized that I really, really liked it. So I decided I should make Skyloft in Minecraft. But I realized that if I was to make something like this, and if it was meant to end up looking good, I'd have to plan a lot. I gathered maps, model viewers, tons of other things and went on my way to recreate Skyloft in Minecraft.
And the result ended up pretty good in my opinion! Here's a video I recorded after releasing it, which was done way before I figured I should bring it here.
Some of the key features are:
Now a note about the interiors: In Skyward Sword, the interiors aren't the same size as the exteriors. In other words, while the Academy is seen in one size from the outside, on the inside it's roughly 1.5x bigger. I couldn't handle this in Minecraft, so the interiors had to be squashed.
However, with the upcoming release of Minecraft 1.4, I'll recreate the interiors, and make the player able to teleport there with the new Command Blocks. I'll also make use of some of the new features, like vases and those item frames. So... for now, try to live with the tiny interiors. In the future, these'll be remastered. (This explains the 90% completion progress)
A readme file is included, so make sure to read it if you have any questions.

Some of the key features are:
- Everything's been made in a rough 1:1 scale.
- I made sure to keep all of the smallest objects and details.
- The interiors exist, but there is one catch, which I'll explain further down.
- You can freely explore (almost) every part of the map. Think of it this way: If Link can get there normally, so can you. For everything else, there's always the Creative mode's fly mode.
- You can even live there if you want, there are perfectly reasonable conditions.

Additional Notes
- You might notice that villagers are trapped inside Nether Fences. I might change this in the future, but for now, if you don't want to see the gates, you can use this texture pack to make them invisible. Furthermore, there are paintings around the map that, with this texture pack, represent the same paintings and pictures as the ones in the game.
- I don't know what's up with the ratings on my video :/ The video analysis thing states that 4 of those thumbs down came from the same place, at the same time. Would you please mind rating the video correctly? Thumb it down if you don't like my project, but please thumb it up if you do.
