Hello there! I'm 15 and have decided that I wanted to share my love for Sonic with the world, by making a Sonic-themed Minecraft map!

SONIC CRAFTIFIED!
This map aims to recreate every zone from every 2D Sonic game in blocky 3D (including some extra zones!), including various mechanics such as falling/moving platforms, breakable walls and even zone-specific gimmicks, for the most accurate Minecraft-Sonic experience.

REQUIREMENTS
Minecraft Forge 1.18.2
Latest version of the Create mod for 1.18.2 (+ Flywheel)
Latest version of the SoniCraft mod for 1.18.2 (+ GeckoLib)
Custom mod in the .zip file
MAKE SURE TO USE THIS MAP'S VERSION OF THE INCLUDED CUSTOM MOD IF YOU'RE UPDATING THE MAP! STUFF WILL BREAK IF YOU DON'T!

RULES
1. DON'T CHEAT! It ruins the experience. Trust me.
2. Stay in Adventure mode. Please.
3. F3+N is not allowed. That would be cheating, wouldn't it?
4. ...I dunno, have fun I guess?

Render Distance: 24+ chunks
Clouds: OFF
Ambient/Environment Music: 100% (OFF to avoid music bug)

THIS IS A MODDED MAP!
To make this map possible, the SoniCraft mod by EnderPreston was used, alongside the Create mod for moving platforms, WorldEdit for act creation and a custom mod I made in MCreator that adds the necessary blocks and items to make this map accurate to the base game.

ABOUT THE UPDATE
This update brings with it a new minigame based off of the Sonic game Sonic the Fighters! Pick your favourite Sonic character and go head-to-head with 'em! Some characters are much harder than others. Good luck!
To play, simply step on the pressure plate next to the Sonic the Fighters arcade cabinet in the main hub.
Also, the first act of Marble Zone is here! It's not in the main story of Sonic 1 yet, but you can play it in the act selection.

Warning, however: updates aren't consistent. Like... at all. Procrastination sucks. Just be patient, please?

To begin the game, slot the Sonic 1 cartridge in the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive by right-clicking it with the cartridge in hand.

Oh, and did I mention the secret red star rings hidden in every act? There's 5 in each one, so keep your eyes peeled!
(Hint: Some red star rings replace the extra life monitors.)

HOW TO DOWNLOAD
Before putting this map in your saves folder, install the latest version of Forge for 1.18.2. Then, put the required mods in the mods folder. Then put the map in your saves, launch Minecraft and play!

BUGS I'M AWARE OF
- The music resets whenever you die in an act.
- Whenever the floating platforms in MZ1 stop moving, a breaking sound can be heard.

Since this map is still a demo, there's still quite a lot of bugs, so if you could point them out, or give other feedback (like redesigning an act), I'd greatly appreciate it! Remember, I'm only 15 and this is my first released map.
