Introducing SS America in Minecraft!

This is a 1:1 scale build of the United States Liner SS America! This build features her Cabin, Tourist, & Third Class interiors.

A few things to Note about this build:
1) I recommend you use the Natural Texture Pack for full immersion.
2) I build in 1:1 scale, but building in this scale comes with limitations. Some areas may be distorted or compromised due to scale and sizing when building in 1:1. Compromises have to be made in order to complete the build, so some areas may not actually resemble the actual thing. (This goes for all future builds).
3) This build does not feature cabins, engine rooms, or crew member spaces. There is dead space unfortunately, but I try my best to accurately recreate the popular venues onboard. All builds primarily focuses on class accommodations (Lounges, Dining Rooms, etc).

Short history of the SS America
She was an ocean liner built for United States Lines in 1940 and was designed by the famed naval architect William Francis Gibbs. She served her service in WWII as USS West Point and returned to civilian service after the war. She had a successful early career and was given a larger and faster running mate, the SS United States. As the decade grew on, she had a great career but things were beginning to change and the SS America was laid up. In 1964, she was bought by Chandris Lines and converted into the SS Australis. She was given a second life as a cruise ship and served a great cruising career, making memories for thousands of passengers. However, due to the rising fuel costs, aging infrastructure, and the creation of long-range jetliners that caused Chandris to pull SS Australis from service in 1978. In that same year, she was bought by an new upstart budget cruise company called Venture Cruises and renamed her back to "America" and gave her a patriotic livery. Unfortunately, due to the quick rush of trying to convert her she was in extremely bad condition, with piles of soiled linen, worn mattresses, and scattered piles of trash everywhere, together with a pungent smell of kitchen odors, engine oil, and the sounds of plumbing back-ups. The cruise failed and she was sold once again, this time back to Chandris. Chandris renamed her to "Italis" and removed her forward funnel. Though she would only last a few years as "Italis" then soon after she was sold. In 1980, she sold to Intercommerce Corporation and was renamed Noga and used as a Prison ship. In September, 1984, the ship was sold to Silver Moon Ferries and was renamed once again to "Alferdoss". But plans failed again and she was laid up once again. In October, 1992, she was sold yet again, with the intention of being refitted to become a five-star hotel ship off Phuket, in Thailand. She was renamed "American Star" and conversion took place. She left Greece in December 1993 under tow and was headed to Thailand. As History had other plans, She was caught in a storm and was beached along Playa de Garcey, off the west coast of Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands. She was declared a loss and the wreck was abandoned. Over the years, she was visited by tourist, looted and was tested against military. She became one of the most famous shipwrecks in the world. However she would not last, the powerful waves were eating her and over the decades she collapsed into the sea. She lived a colorful life and now she lived in memory.
