The S.S. Salien was build in the Kaiser shipyard as the first transatlantic Liner for the german Atlas Linie and made her maiden voyage at summer 1890.
Three more ships of her class should follow wich all was similar in construction. The S.S. Habsburg (1890), S.S. Staufen (1892) and the S.S. Karolingen (1893).
The S.S. Staufen and especially the S.S. Karolingen got some changes in their deck and hull construction.

The S.S. Salien is a fully fictional ship and is a edited version of the S.S. Staufen.
In that case the Salien is very similar in the deck layout, but got some minor changes of some areas. The biggest changes are at the public rooms of the 1. Class and on the outside deck construction wich let it now look more like a ship from the 1890ies.

I hope you guys like this alternative version to the S.S. Staufen and let me known some responses to it.
