Suburban Community Centre - The Assembly Facility
Welcome to another modern build of mine, tackling one of the essential facilities a city population could have: a place to meet, greet and gather. I am participating this in Qman's Part of a City Contest due next month, and as required by the contest rules, I am supposed to base my creations off real buildings (maybe not existent) and post proof of resemblance, which can be found among the photos above. This place is recommended for groups of Minecraft friends spending time together, to explore and add to their own cities (in which I allow, under the condition you accredit this building as mine).
Most of the research about community centres I conducted was mostly from Wikipedia, it's a hardly known subject nowadays for discussion... Without further ado, download link is provided for exploration as well as the schematic if you wish to import for your world via MCedit.

FUN FACT: Windcatchers are featured in this community centre where they favour the ventilation of an urban building by using towers comprising of holes on one side, facing the direction where wind flows towards. Hot air descends and enters the interior of the building by doors and windows, and later cools down to rise up through wind towers to join the wind. This is also known as a convection current where tempered air is circulated around to provide breathing room for people inside.

- Maintenance compartment, Auditorium control, Records room and Administration/Financial office
- Two parking areas, outdoor park, alot of trees and flowers
