So many hours and so much ink for dark prismarine for those bloody roofs.
My survival „thing” for last few months on Gry-SkyWare,pl where I am builder at so in the minetime I split my time between this and other projects (Skyblock spawn, boss arena and even spawn for new edition). Most of it, I would say about 90%, had been done in survival with occasional use of flying that comes with my rank. Later I was mostly consumed with new spawn
therefore I switched into creative to add last touches. Survival part would not be posiible if not for help from people on the server, at some point good half of them were hunting squids for me and even helped mi fill all those lakes or finish outer walls, plant flowers andouter plce leaves on trees. To make this possible I even co-owned and co-created guardian farm. Never again. I just assumed, that someone on the server already had done one when I decided for this roofing. Well. Also usage of bricks, terracotta and granite in foundations is self inflicted challenge of sort, to use more blocks in colours that I don't like.
When It comes to structure of build itself, It was supossed to be a “starter”, as name of It says, and It got out of control quite quickly. Mine main aesthetic inspiration for it was painting of James Gourney's “Castle in the Sky” (Online I have found few diffternt names, but this is easly googlabe.) For it beeing survival base of operation I made storage, bedroom, kitchen, lubrary and so on, more on that can be found udner screenshots. Yes, htere is a beacon rainbow, made purely for looks (last screenshot). I like It and it suprised me every time I saw it witch I find funny. Last time I made smoke out of glass (1.14 fireplaces here I come!) and could not make more stone detalis on the mountain itself. Town was build to fill space within the outer walls, farms first functional, later they just stayed. Next challenge I made myself face is watermill. It came out ok, but I want to try it again. And that is it. My starter, tall build on top of the mountain, first of this sort I am pleased enough with to show here.

I don't tend to be anywhere near this decorative, but have considerable familiarity with the 'started to do, but it grew on me' phenomena. . .
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . …turned into a good looking baronial seat.
