Description
The East Indiaman
~Götheborg~
is a reconstruction of the vessel with the same name that sank just outside Göteborg harbour in Sweden after a long voyage to China and back, that was 1745. Now, Some 269 years later, Götheborg sails again as a perfect 1:1 reconstruction of the original ship. The real life ship was completed and made her maiden voyage in 2005. I don't usually do replicas, but when I do, I build em´ good. lol.
I'v researched this vessel quite a lot and have tried my best to imitate it as far as minecrafty possible, even the interior is pretty much life like, with a few exceptions due to my principles. For example, the RL ship has an enginedeck with 2x dieselpowered 404kW engines, and a lot of modern equipment, which I've chosen to ignore and instead have a regular cargodeck. Also, the dimensions are a bit tweaked if you go by the princple that 1m = 1 mc block. The transom (stern) part of this ship, I must say, was quite boring to do, and frankly looks quite boring, but I stuck with the irl design rather than the looks in that case.
Numbers
Ship type: as far as I can tell she is a low cut galleon/ship of the line type vessel,
but the only thing I can find on their site is the term "full rigged raw sailer",
which.. doesn't really say much in my experience anyway.
Length x Width - 58x11m IRL, some 65x 17 blocks ingame.
Gross tonnage: 788 ton
Guns: 14
Decks: 5
Rigg height: 47m IRL - about 65 blocks ingame.
Masts: 3
Sails: 12
Sail area: 1964m², around 1500 woolblocks ingame I believe.
On the Soic site (Swedish east india company) it says that the total number of sails are 24, but I have no idea how actually.
Project time: approx. 30 hours
Terms
You may use the ship for your own projects, provided credit is given to me.
Also, Credit for the map that comes with the world DL I give to o00gareth00o
And should you like it I'd appreciate a shiny stone, some comments &/ fav.
Texturepack:
Conquest, Conquest and Conquest!
Schematic file will be released in a couple of days.
You can find out more about Götheborg Here
And This is a video walkthrough of the interior of the ship, really insightful!
Have fun and thx! <3

Each deck is fully detailed and set for a tour you have to see it to appreciate it.
Reccomend not going into any ships prebuilt with mods in just go in regular minecraft, mods tend to change things and you could loose out on the design some.
There should be something besides a Diamond to give you for your work :)
As a game dev and world designer, much respect goes to Desdruktiva. well done again.
