The End began when alien motherships landed in South America, Eastern Asia, and Africa. An unstoppably technological Alien army easily swept across the  earth, wiping out city after city and killing all in it's path. While most companys put their efforts towards fighting the alien force, Altarus Laboratories realized this was a battle we couldn't win, and began working on plans to save the Human Race. There were many failures including Escaping to space in a shuttle, only to be shot down, and an impenetrable forcefild based on a mix of their technology and ours. They easy tore the test ones apart. Altarus was running out of ideas and the alien forces were covering over half the world, but Altarus had a card up their sleeve. A last ditch effort. To build a city on the bottom of the ocean, and hope that the aliens don't hunt them down. Work started right away with the Construstion of the Senate Dome, which would be the place of law within the underwater city. With most of the Structure done they set up a smaller, Radio Dome in hopes of contacting the surface world to see how much time they had to finish the project. By the time they were finishing the radio dome and had set up an alien-tech turret, the African Mothership had been destroyed by Egyptian and Iranian forces teaming up. There was an unbelievably powerful crystal inside, whci would be able to power the earth indefinitely. It was used to power the Altarus project, which was now becoming a global project as more and more countries fell to the superior alien forces. Time was running out, and the Altarus group had only finished the Radio Dome and put the crystal in the Senate dome. There were plans for an Agriculture Dome and a Residential Dome, but by the time they were ready to build, it was too late. The Surface world had been destroyed. The only hope left was to build a massive turret to protect what little they'd built, but it was too late, as an alien ship descended into the ocean and started shooting out alien fighter-ships. The Final stand of Humanity began as the alien ship fired on the city, ripping into the tunnel which connected the radio dome and the Senate Dome. Freezing water flooded in, but was stopped on the Senate Dome's end when they'd closed the air tight hatch. The Radio Dome wasn't so lucky as water started flooded in, only to have the alien ship fire again and shatter the Radio Dome. The Radio Dome was lost, but the turret nearby still worked as it blew a hole in the side of the Alien ship. All the Alien shipped needed to do though was crack the Senate Dome and they'd have won. They'd have conquered a whole planet in a mere month. As the ship fired a giant projectile towards the dome, the workers inside knew it was over. The Era of Man ended when the glass cracked.
