Background Story:

You have been living peacefully in a small town for your entire life, often acting as a messenger between the other surrounding cities. You have been taught in your early youth of an ancient group of mages who protected the land from an evil force which had been slowly corrupting the land. They had created a powerful magical sword, and locked the source of the evil and corruption into a dormant state. It was said that the sword was locked in a temple across the plains, and that the blade could only be retrieved in a great crisis.

After many years, the evil and corruption seems to be returning. Strange noises have been heard during the night, and your fellow villagers have been becoming worried. You must find the legendary Dragon Blade and destroy the source of the corruption.

Notes:

The texture pack is a customized version of Dokucraft, and was edited for use in this map.

You must use the texture pack for this map, or many textures will appear broken! Also, because dokucraft is a high definition texture pack, I advise you use either MCPatcher or Optifine even though the HD textures are now compatible with Minecraft. In addition, this map can not be used in any version of minecraft less than 1.5, as there are command blocks and new textures.

Rules and stuff:

There are many hidden chests with emeralds and other goodies inside. There are a total of 64 emeralds, but good luck finding them all! You can trade with villagers, but the emeralds make up your score at the end. Also, not every bonus is in a chest, and not every hidden chest will have emeralds in them. The more difficult or less likely of finding a chest is, the more valuable the goodies will be.

You can break clay, vines, and snow, but nothing else.

Make sure you read the README file, as all installation instructions and rules are in there. The readme file and the texture pack are included with the world download above.
