Hello everyone!
This is my first upload here on Planet Minecraft so, bare with me.

The space adventure is a singleplayer experience that will take you around 1 - 2 hours and it is fully replayable as each playthrough is unique.

Requirements:
Minecraft 1.12.2
Singleplayer only.
Needs to be reset after each playthrough so I would advise making a second copy of the world.

Story:
You just woke up from cryonics onboard of a spaceship in the middle of nowhere. Your mission was to gather minerals with your mining vessel from a nearby asteroid belt within your home solar system. Something must have gone wrong as you appeared to be somewhere completely different. The space around you, the solar system, the galaxy were all alien to you.

Your navigational systems didn't know where you were in comparison to your home. There was only one line of coordinates to a place millions of lightyears away. As if the computer was screaming at you to set course to that destination. In place of your trusty nuclear super thruster engine was missing and in its place, there was something else. A machine with plenty of lights, dials and alien carvings on its surface. You check your systems and notice that the alien machine was called a Portal Reactor and was fully functional.

You had a destination and the means to get there. The only thing you had to worry about were resources to keep the Reactor running, the ship floating and you breathing.

Origin:
One day I sat down to play one of my favorite mobile games. The game is called Out There and it is a 2D singleplayer survival resource management space travel experience. The player could truly feel like he/she was all alone traveling through space.

Anyway.

Then I thought, what if I made this in Minecraft? From there I started brainstorming ideas on how to put Out There into Minecraft. I managed to create most of the gameplay ideas of that game. Randomized travel locations (planets and such), resource management, technologies, alien encounters, different ships etc. And on top of all of those things, I also added a bunch of things from Minecraft itself, such as further exploration, weapons, and combat.

This is truly my passion project. Most (99%) of the work was done by me. Few of the spaceships and a part of the end game are creations of other creators and links to those creations should be somewhere in here. The planets, planet surfaces, technologies, a couple of the ships ALL OF THE REDSTONE AND COMMAND BLOCK STUFF were made by me.

So yeah.

If you have any questions, don't forget to ask in the comments!

I hope anyone who is bored enough to download this creation enjoys playing it.

Well, you finished the game. That's where it ends. There isn't anything else you can do. Though, if you REALLY want to get out of there and explore all the things I had made in that world for the adventure, you can do the regular Minecraft thing and go into creative mode...

Okay thank you. I did do that earlier, exploring the map in one of my failed games, and saw the large black ship saying that it was mine, and I sort of assumed there was somewhere from the colony to the ship. Anyways, thanks for the great map! I spent hours and hours, as well as many tries trying to beat the map.

There was one glitch that happened a couple of times. I was on the dark world, and when I hit the button to go back to my ship, it would teleport me to the exact same place, where I would usually die as a result of the wither skeletons. Just thought I would let you know for future players benefit, thanks again!
