The TIE/rb heavy starfighter or more commonly known as the TIE Brute or the Heavy TIE Fighter was a Heavy Starfighter utilised by the Galactic Empire. The TIE Brute was equipped with a stronger hull than the Empire's Standard TIE fighter and was equipped with more powerful laser cannons located on its distinguishing extra pod to the left of the Cockpit. The TIE Brute also featured a MGK-300 Droid Brain which would assist the pilot in a similar fashion to an Astromech.
