This is my own fictional, custom creation, an amphibious assault Infantry support vehicle.  USS Guardian.  It would travel to the combat teathered to a large ship like a Cruiser or aircraft carrier.  Then it can carry large amounts of infantry over land to the combat zone, and give heavy air suport with its guns, while defending itsself with flares and RAM.
