The New World has been reborn! You may have seen our original thread, well we've started the server over again from scratch and that means starting from scratch! Our old server had nearly 1,000 players whitelisted and evolved considerably in the six or so months it was running. Three maps, a ton of players and a fantastic community; the server really was a great success. This is what we're trying to get back. We've already got a good player-base just from our forum, but we want to expand and bring more players into our community!
The server is focused on Factions, which I'm sure many of you are already familiar with. For those who aren't, Factions allows you to start a group with which you claim land as your own, ally with other factions or go to war and raid! Factions is integrated with our economy, which involves selling ores in return for coins. There's no cost in setting up a faction, or inviting members. There is only a small cost for every land claim you make, and a large fee for claiming other Faction's land (if you're at war or raiding for example). This makes raiding something you really have to invest in, but it's necessary if you want to become the most powerful faction!
