How old are you? My age is 16. I hope this doesn't weigh you decision towards a "no" ( if there is a age limit). What timezone are you in? (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) What country do you live in? You can probably tell by my name I'm Canadian What languages do you speak? Well as a Canadian I speak English and you could say a bit of French and Spanish. Why do you think you should become a staff member? I would like to become a member of the Staff team because I am a very happy, kind and helpful person. I can resolve arguments quickly and easily, and add to the mood of the server when I am online. Joking aside, I feel that I would be fair to other players on the server and also be able to take action when needed. Furthermore, I think that I would be a great addition to the teams I am often online when there are no other staff members online, allowing me to fill that gap. I have been given a few staff positions on other servers in the past and hope that I could achieve this role on the server. Lastly, I feel I would make a great addition to the team and I really would like to enhance the community Also, I believe I have what it takes to maintain a staff position on this server. I have had a notable amount of staff positions on previous servers, and have only recently picked up MC once more. How long can you be active on the server everyday? -Monday-Friday 4-7 Hours -Weekend 7-15 Hours -School Vacation 8-17 Hours -Holidays 2-3 Hours Have you ever been banned in the past? No, I haven't been in the past nor will I do anything that will result in a ban for me.

What would you do if someone breaks a rule in-game? - It would depend on what the user did. If it was a minor rule break I would just warn the player about what they had done with the new /warn command so they would know what they have done wrong and hopefully not do it again. If it was more of a serious rule break like spamming as such I would mute the rule breaker for a time of 10 minutes and send them a warning message on what would happen if they break that certain rule again. Of course if any of these rule breaks continue to occur from the same player they will receive a kick for an amount of time which will be judged on the offence.

What would you do if someone breaks a rule on the forums? - If someone were to break a rule on the forums I would tell them what they had done so they won't do it again and go on to either locking the thread or deleting their comment depending on what had happened. If it was just one thing it would be deleted, but if it was a huge flame war I would most probably lock the thread if I could see it carrying on in the future.

Why should we choose YOU over other applicants? I am different from others because I am both active and committed to the server. I feel like I have the respect of the majority of players on the server and therefore I think that I could be a good staff member for the team. I feel that I am very friendly and down to earth, which makes me approachable and easy to talk to. This means that players can feel comfortable to come and ask me for help when needed. I have been told by many, many people I am extremely mature for my age. (and I hope that my writing reflects that) Furthermore, I have great people-skills and can think outside the box, and not just be a 'ban-machine' or someone who sticks to the rules religiously, like adhesive or whatnot. I of course will reinforce the rules, but when circumstances apply by which an educated and informed decision has to be made, I am confident I can make the right one. I feel like I could bring lots to the community too.You should accept me because I am hardworking and extremely dedicated to my work. I believe I would benefit the staff team because I am easy to work with and approach all situations in a professional way. For example, if a current issue is being discussed, I would offer my opinion and/or solution with an explanation as to why I think my idea would not only resolve the issue but improve the server and benefit the majority of the playerbase. Additionally, I am very open to other people's ideas and never force my opinion and/or ideas upon others. In addition to being a professional and easy to work with team member, I have experience making decisions for the server and implementing changes. I spent a long time moderating a smaller server that was ignored by the owner and was given the opportunity to take a more administrative position and make decisions for the server that helped grow the playerbase and attract attention. After my experience there (it ended when the server was moved and reset--I decided that it was time to move on; it was not an unfriendly split), I decided I was interested in an administrative position. I am currently an administrator on a small server and have spent countless hours setting up ranks, permissions, economies. This position has taught me general administrative tasks. I know each server owner has different expectations for administrators, and I am quick to learn my role. (You're probably wondering how I plan to manage my time--as of now, the other server is undergoing extensive changes that are mostly being handled by the developer. Once the server is reopened, I will have to divide my time; however, I am extremely efficient at completing tasks and "taking care of business" and am more than capable of holding both positions.) What can you do to benefit to the server? I could bring my positivity to the server which I hope could influence other players on the it. I can be there to solve arguments and be there to talk when others need me and simply make conversation. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I have been given staff positions on multiple different servers. I rose from being a helper to becoming the head admin on a single server. I have been appointed various staff positions on servers both large and small, picking up experience with basic plugins as I went along. My recent inactivity has probably meant I have lost a lot of that, but I'm sure that a few quick reminders would cure that. My positions of staff have ranged from Head-admins, moderators and helpers, on servers as large as 100-200 players at peak times.I'll begin elaborating on my administrating experience because I am applying for an administrative position, but I will also include my moderating experience As an administrator, I was responsible for communicating with players and resolving in-game problems such as voting errors, donating problems, and rank permissions. When I first began, I was given a very limited role that would make suggestions regarding ranks, donator perks, and server economies; however, I was soon granted more freedom to the extent where I could promote & demote moderators, make rank changes, make donator perk changes, et cetera (of course I do not expect these permissions here). One of my main roles was also to write threads and clean up the forums. I was often responsible for writing & updating the global rules thread as well as all of the subserver rules threads. I also spent time reading all the threads and replying to player's questions. Once the team decided to renovate the server, I was responsible for supervising the new builders, watching the progress, making ranks, and answering questions regarding the release of new subservers. Additional information about my administrating: When in-game, I often monitored the chat and looked at the chat logs (there were not any moderators in the same timezone). I would also log onto the server during strange times to sit in vanish and evaluate moderators. In order to encourage players to return, I held a contest on one of the subservers that required players to either work really hard in-game or spend money buying in-game money. This turned out to be extremely successful: it earned $75+ and caused players to log on and participate. As a moderator, I spent around 5 months as a trial moderator because the server was neglected by the single administrator who had permission to promote moderators. Before I was promoted, the server had been extremely empty and there were not any active moderators. During this time, I was the only regularly active moderator and was able to handle all situations that arose with my limited trial moderator permissions. My promotion to a full moderator was quite surprising, and even more surprisingly, I was not a full moderator for a full 24 hours before being promoted to a super moderator. As a super moderator, I had many permissions in-game and was given the opportunity to choose new moderators, decide what enchants would be enabled, and make decisions on high-profile bans. During my moderating time as a trial moderator, there was a lot of "cleaning up" such as banning players who griefed and making sure victims were refunded. Additionally, I gained a reputation for keeping the chat peaceful and enforcing the rules. As a super moderator, I was responsible for filling all the rollback requests made by the new moderators (who I happened to have chosen) as well as speaking for the server on the forums (the forums were for multiple servers). I hope this is enough detail. If not, I can try to elaborate more I feel as if I might sound repetitive in some parts, but I think I have explained almost every aspect of my experiences. Anything Else you would like to say? I would like to stress I am open to any questions or needed clarifications, you can contact me on the Skype account above and I shall reply as soon as possible! If you think there's anything I left out or avoided in my app, I will be happy to quench your thirst for knowledge, and talk about my app! Also, I just wish the server luck regardless, as I really like the atmosphere and potential it has. I hope that my application receives fair consideration and the right decision is made, whatever that may be! I hope that you will take everything I've mentioned into consideration and I look forward to hearing your opinions. My current administrative position is mainly an in-game and forums administrative position that centers around interacting with the community (asking players about their experience, discussing suggestions, promoting moderators, implementing perks and/or ranks). I do not have experience with the server console, but I do have experience with nearly all aspects of the forums (I am very quick to learn how to use differently designed forums). Additionally, you may wonder about my in-game interactions with other players. You probably have not seen me enforcing rules because there has been a moderator online, and from experience, nothing is more annoying when a player acts as staff when a moderator is online to do his/her job (coming from a moderator's perspective).

Thank you for taking the time to read my application! Any feedback is greatly appreciated and will be used to improve my application and/or in-game interactions.
