Crossplay (MCPE, Bedrock, Java), Sailable Ships and Airships, Cannons, Claims, Brewing, PvP, and lots of custom plugins set in after the Golden Age of Piracy. The server was recently created, and is still undergoing rapid development.

In the year 1706, the British Empire's fleet has discovered a strange phenomenon - an enormous portal to a strange new world opened in the ocean near the Americas. The British Empire diverted enormous resources to explore the newly discovered territories. Soon new settlers poured through the portal. The portal disappeared five years later cutting the settlers off. It would never reappear again. Many people commonly assume that the Age of Pirates ended as a result of the British Empire hunting down the pirates but it is more likely the real reason was that the pirates just escaped through the portal.
It is now 1799, Generations have passed since the portals closed down. New technological developments spurred by the easy access to magical artifacts and creatures resulted in an age of prosperity. Airships powered by both science and magic soar the skies, magically enchanted armor and weaponry are as common as conventional attire.

Pigmen and Zombie Pigmen are much more protective of their gold.
Mobs are more likely to drop loot if they had a chance to attack a player.
Disabled setting homes near claims without permission.
Cooldown for /tpa and /tpahere on pvp to discourage tping in allies during combat.
Removed no-pvp and no-explosions flags on claims.
Added a subclaim that is "outside" of all player-added subclaims for easier permission management.
Made mob combat tag disappear if the mob is too far away (over 30 blocks).
Relaxed interaction limits for respawn invincibility - you can now walk around and even shift/sprint without losing the effect.
Redstone buttons on ships will work in claims as long as the ship is piloted.
Added /scuttle.
Added ally chat.
Donator names are now colored in-game and on Discord.
Donators got /hat command.
Mobs will become curious if they see someone invisible breaking or building a block and will come to investigate.
Claim upkeep has been reduced 5x. Claims now take energy when expanded.
Logging out while on fire will still damage the player.
Withers no longer drop coal.
Lots and lots of bugfixes: sinking, rain falling inside ships, /sethome working right before death, floating bedrock players unable to join, etc.

Very new and ever-expanding, responsive owner and helpful community! Ship plugin is smooth and useful for success, PvP is balanced and there are even events like jousting among other sports hosted by the Guilds!
Definitely recommended!
Plenty of custom features, and a sturdy community tied together by years of past experiences.
It's immersive and engaging, sailing feels just right!
