TL;DR The server's amazing (For those of whom don't want to read an essay)


Survival Lime is an amazing semi-vanilla survival server that I found a couple weeks back, the servers staff and ownership are extremely helpful and understanding as well have very fast response times (On the Discord server) to any issues or difficulties you may be having said day with the server which doesn't happen too often. The community is quite small as of right now, however, that's one of the main reasons for my arrival and stay on the server due to the fact that your suggestions are heard and hopefully acted upon as long as it doesn't stray too far from vanilla.


You have the ability to use the command "/back" if you're in a sticky situation which is where the "semi-vanilla" tag comes in, however, if you have enough self-discipline you could always ignore the fact that it even exists. There's protection stones which if you couldn't already tell by it's name protects your plot of land, you can purchase them with "coins, $" which you acquire over the amount of time you've played on the server not including AFKing. The various sizes of protection stones consist of a protected area of 32x32, 64x64, and 128x128 blocks which the costs of those protected areas vary.


If you're a fan of Hermitcraft as I am, the server also just recently (2-3 days from this post) added the hermitcraft data pack which adds 1 player sleep, 2 shulker shell drops per shulker kill, ender dragon dropping an elytra upon death, as well as a couple other little tweaks. Not to mention, with the server being such a low populated semi-vanilla survival server as well as a fairly new generated world, the end cities haven't been entirely raided which means you can acquire as much loot and shulker boxes that your heart could ever desire as of right now.


The rules are quite obvious and straight forward, no griefing, no x-ray or hacked clients, no afk pools, and most importantly be kind and respect everyone, new and old.


My time on the server as of right now is to make plenty of public/community xp/farming areas for others to use as their disposal through the nether. My current project as of right now is a community guardian farm where you can obviously acquire XP for free and purchase shards/crystals and all guardian based drops for a small fee which is undecided as of right now.


If you made it this far in my post, hopefully you decided to give the server a try for a couple of days or even a week because I promise you if you enjoy vanilla minecraft, after a week on this server you will be quite addicted and find your place on the server the same way I did!
