WIP
Ettara is a premium survival multiplayer founded on a set of handcrafted maps. The landscape is built upon three super continents ranging between 9 x 9 Km and 4 x 4 Km. The continents use realistic geographic features and biomes to present more simplistic uniform terrain. Within the world, players will have access to a simplified class, and occupation system to enhance the overall experience.

The world of Ettara is made up of the three continents: Kyria, Exoria, and Rino. The main landmass is Kyria with the other two are too distant to be charted and documented. Within Kyria lie the four realms of Nanir, Ivenbale, Mava, and Cellious. Each has played a distinct role in the lore up to present day, and has been recorded in the archive. The lore is ongoing and changes throughout time as villages are burned in wars, lands are explored, and so on.
Lineage Class System
The Lineage Class System isno t meant to fully limit players given rights in playing Minecraft. Players will start off with one unique attribute for enhanced game play and to stimulate the in-game economy. As players build up their total amount of attributes game play will seem less restrictive to them as they are able to achieve a variety of unique attributes as in casting fireballs to chopping down an entire tree with one swing.
Traits
When you enter the World of Ettara you will be given a choice of 3 distinct classes called Traits. Between them are ways to obtain gold to support your way through Ettara.
Artisan- Take in raw materials and craft them into powerful artifacts.
Combatant- Hone your skills and decimate your foes in a variety of ways.
Laborer- Salvage resources throughout the world and exchange them for gold.
Attributes
Special attributes can be given to players to advance their skills as a means of an occupation. An example can be, a player with Laborer as a trait can choose Mining as their attribute so they can mine high valued ore. Or that player can choose Artisan as a trait and Forager as a attribute for the ability to smelt ores into suits of sturdy armor and razor sharp swords. Though you might think Mining would be the best occupation both are needed to receive the end product. This keeps the economy of Ettara circulating so everyone has a chance to make it on the server.
Reputations / Factions
Though players are able to form sub-factions throughout Ettara the four capitol factions residing in all four capitols have permanent viewpoints of each other. If your faction is allied with one of the capitol factions it will influence all other capitol factions viewpoints of your faction in the same manner. If your faction is remotely new the capitol factions will remain neutral until you approach them from a alliance or if you attack them!
PvP
The faction system also holds the rules for PvP. You may attack and kill on sight only if you spot a rival faction member or an outlaw. Assaulting players out of this manor will pin you as a outlaw giving all players the potential of attacking you on sight as a bounty is placed on you. Bounties can be removed by paying a fine or serving your time. An outlaws bounty will increase with every confirmed kill.
PvE
Along with turmoil from factions players will have to be wary of natural forces within the server. Like vanilla Minecraft hostile mobs will creep out at night but there are a wide range of points on interests around the world that hold hostile mobs constantly.
Economy
All Realms even ones who have negatives views of each other share the same currency. This being so, buying and selling of various goods, territory, occupational services is easy to manage and accumulate.
Travel and Transportation
The most readily available transportation throughout Ettara is by foot. Though ito s more time consuming and dangerous ito s the only free means of getting around free of charge. Nanir created and runs the railroads throughout Kyria. Not only are the railroads faster then walking but Nanir guards are paid to keep the lines operational and safe from mobs.
Preserved Environment
You may have noticed our server maps areno t infinite but have borders restricting travel to an extent. We take pride in our handcrafted maps and ensure that anything you might want to find while venturing is available inside our maps. This being said at any laboring facilities like mills, mines, and dig sites the resources excavated there will be replenished over time. You still may choose to acquire your own recourses but this is an opportunity to guarantee you recourses in a infinite manor.
