Essential Craft 24/7 [1.5.2] - Factions, Raiding, Shops + More!


About the Server


 Essential Craft is a medieval themed Faction server. Upon joining the server you will 
be given the "Villager" rank. A Villager is equipped with a variety of commands that will help you navigate around the server, create Factions, obtain items, and much more. However, if you would like to become more powerful, there is an option to donate for higher ranks. Donating not only gives you awesome commands and abilities such as, Flying, Lightning, and Creative Mode, but it also helps keep the server running 24/7.

Features

 Creating a Faction with your friends always a good time, but after a while it may get a bit stale. Then comes the question, "What else is there to do on this server?". Well, Free Factions is loaded with a large array of things to do. From Raiding, PVP, and Jobs to a Market, Parkour Course, and even a Bouncy House you will always be busy in the Free Factions Kingdom!

  • Factions: 


 Perhaps the most notable feature of the server, Factions, are player created homes/bases that can be built from items collected by hand, or bought from the server's market. The base can then be claimed by the player using commands, this effectively protects it from invaders, at least, you should hope so. Bringing us to the next key part of the server, raiding. 


 Raiding involves one or more faction members invading another faction's base in order to steal items. You may be thinking, "How can other players steal from claimed land?" This can be executed a number of ways including TNT Cannons, Creeper Luring, and Faction Betrayal, but the main way to go about doing this is by lowering the factions power and claiming over the target faction's land. Power is a feature in the factions plugin that is used to judge how much land a faction can have at one time. You can lose power by dying and if a Faction's power is low enough you can claim there land for your own.



  • Economy:


 This server uses the plugins "McJobs" and "Essentials Economy". With these plugins you can earn server money by doing jobs. There are several jobs available to join such as Miner, pays you to mine certain blocks or Warrior, which pays you to slay mobs. The money that you earn will allow you to purchase items in the Market. The Market is filled with close to EVERY item in the game, some items are more expensive than others and require more effort to obtain.  
  • Spawn:
 In Free Factions you will notice that in Spawn, everything is clear cut, and organized. There are no unnecessary buildings, confusing signs, or unclear warps. Everything is designed to be as dynamic as possible with easy access to all the features in the server. In Spawn, vines are also a useful way to get around. Vines are placed on mostly everything in spawn, use these to climb your way to your destination. Spawn in the central hub, everything you need in on spot, no warping to different locations or walking around for half an hour trying to find something. There are several useful locations in spawn that are available to everyone, some of these include: Enchantment Shop, Bouncy House, Parkour, PvP Arena, Archery Range, Market, and Kit Signs to name a few.

Ranks


  In this server the Medieval theme not only applies to spawn and the builds but also the ranks. As mentioned in the server introduction, by default you will be a "Villager". The staff's ranks are as as follows:

Moderator: Guard, Admin: Duke, Head-Admin: Arch Duke

Owner/Co-Owner: OverLord/Lord
Donations


 Free Factions is a work in progress and I, as the owner, believe that with the support of the players, the server will be able to grow and expand it's community. In order to keep Free Factions alive and 24/7 monthly payments must be made to the server host (McProHosting.com) as well as the donation website (buycraft.net). As some of you may know these services are not always cheap and that is why donations are vital in keeping the server up and running for people to enjoy.

 I know that asking nicely and telling a sob story isn't a good enough reason for anyone to donate so of course you can donate for any of the following:

Ranks:

Ranks are essentially tiers with more commands and other perks and bonuses.

Include - New Commands (Ex:Fly, God, Creative), Special Abilities (Ex:No Falling Damage), Kits (Kits are items you can receive after a set period of time), Server Cash, and a Custom Chat Prefix.

Cash:

Cash is used to buy items from the market and can be sent to your friends.

Faction Flags:

Faction Flags are upgrades that will make your faction better.

Mob Disguises:

Mob Disguises are disguises that make you appear as a mob.
Parkour


This server features a parkour course. Parkour is a type of mini game that involves jumping, climbing, and sprinting across blocks in order to get to the finish line. There are a few different courses you can play on. Parkour also features special blocks that you can interact with on the course. High Jump, Speed, Climbing, Repulsion, are the main special blocks you will use. Across the parkour course will be able to use checkpoints. If you make it to the end you will be rewarded with items.

Additional Notes
Essential Craft is designed to give much freedom to the players. In Free Factions you will be given many useful commands

This message is a little delayed...Ok, very delayed, but about 2 months ago Essential Craft (Formerly know as Free Factions) unfortunately came to an abrupt ending. This was due to a mistake on my part. However, ever since that day I have been constructing an entirely new server map in single player. I plan to reopen a server once again sometime next month. Thanks for all the support and helpful staff that made this server so great.
