Got on the server after not having played Minecraft for a long while. Server seemed completely different than I remembered. Had a very short chat with some players. Then suddenly *BAM* banned for reason "ban evading"... Wtf? I have never been banned on any Minecraft server, so I think it's safe to say I was not "ban evading"...

Awesome Server!

I've been playing MC since Alpha,  and have played mostly on private servers where you know the Mod/Owner.  Been playing on this server since a few days after it opened and while I don't actually know the owner, he makes it feel like you do. 

I've had minor issues with griefing where I didn't protect my property correctly, and he quickly fixed it.  He (royalme) isn't just a Mod who's running the server for donations, or votes on various MC sites, he actually plays and spends a LOT of time there making people feel at home.

Ther have been a few community builds,  there's now a "Derby" track for horse racing,  and spawn area that's friendly for new players.

The server is 97% Vanilla.  It has /home /spawn /tpa  and uses WorldGuard so users can protect their areas from issues.   Chests' and Furnaces are protected by default.  

The servers' on the East Coast, and I'm on the West Coast, but I've never had any speed issues or lag, even when the server's at almost max capacity.

Atmosphere is pretty chill.   Just a bunch of new friends having some fun,  no real cursing and foul language to speak of,  and people who harrass others are quickly dealt with.

There are some dirt shacks,  and there are some AMAZING builds,  just wander around a bit and you'll see what I mean.   I've stopped looking for servers to play on and this is now my MC home/family.

  When I got onto this server, there were many qualities that lead me to believe that it would be an enjoyable experience. Since, I do not stick around most servers I review, this was a nice push in the direction that I needed. To name a few good things about the server there was little to no lag, everything seemed to be set up, the staff were nice and direct. Now, every server has its flaws this one had a few major ones. TO name a few, spawn was not regioned, there was no way to claim your land unless the owner was on, etc. Small things that could be fixed in less that five minutes.
  When asked about how staff was selected a mod told me that that basically the only requirment was to play "a while". When asked about other requirments I was told that I would need to ask the owner, but I had already had the information I needed. Overall, the server is not that bad at all, just a few minor tweaks and it will be damn near perfect.
