Background: Sanitarium is a brand new vanilla hard difficulty survival server aimed at mature like-minded individuals. The server was created on February 17th, and not one block has been laid. It is currently a clean map looking for individuals who want to start on a completely new server. After a year of migrating from server to server only to have servers disappear over-night, Io ve decided to start my own. This server has already been paid for the entire year, so you can rest assured it will not be going away any time soon. I plan to have this server up and running for a very long time. I will expand the server and choose staff as needed.
Community: Io m looking to establish a community of mature minecraft addicts. This server will be strictly 18+. Some exceptions will be made if a current member sponsors and vouches for the individual. People who like to use mumble are extremely urged to apply! The goal is to have an active player-base of the same people who log in daily (not a necessity but you get what I mean). As mature gamers, we all understand that real life > game. However, please do your best to be active. The community makes the server.
Server Plan: Wide open. I would like to build a community then decide on large server wide decisions. Io d like to community to be involved in shaping this server.
Mods: (only used for administration/anti grief o nothing changes gameplay), Essentials, GroupManager, Dynmap, Worldguard, LWC, and Logblock.
RULES:
1. Be friendly.
2. No cheating o mods like X-ray and Flymod are *NOT* to be used. If caught, you will be banned no questions asked.
3. No griefing of any kind o includes stealing. Zero tolerance on this subject (pranking is OK assuming nothing is destroyed in the process).
4. No harassing other players. Everyone must respect each other.
5. Cut trees down fully.
6. Build at least 1000 blocks from spawn. This is a brand new server and Io ve yet to decide on a spawn. This will ensure plenty of space and make netherhub access less cumbersome.
7. PVP is enabled but is only to be done when both parties want to PVP.
8. Respect the community. Strive to include the entire server in historic events (i.e. slaying the ender dragon and large builds such as an ender farm). Teamwork!
9. Play a few times a week at a minimum. I do not want 200 whitelisted members to have 4 logged in.
10. Cut trees down fully.

Why you should be whitelisted o what do you bring to the community: Well, I am good with redstone and can build lots of cool contraptions with it. I am good at mining and don't mind spending ages gathering materials for everyone to use. I also have some experience with modding, if you would require services such as that,
