Hey all! Just wanted to stop by and introduce you all to our brand new vanilla server. Feel free to drop an application or discuss at your leisure!
Our Server
Here at the Bastion Network we aim to bring a sense of community and friendship into a simple minecraft server. The server is built around making friends and becoming a family, and thus we chose to furthur our goal by going almost completely vanilla. Anything that you'd do to friends is okay in the rulebooks, because what is multiplayer really about if not for the people themselves? Greifing and stealing have become problems of the past due to our carefully selected arsenal of staff tools. The staff themselves are players exactly like you, and when not helping out they are the neighbors building along with everybody. Though we are an incredibly new and small server, we promote active plays and soon expect it to grow into so much more.
Rules
- 1 - No Greifing. Super simple, and pretty much common sense. Greifing doesn't build a good community!
- 2 - Don't be a jerk. We're friends here, simple as that. If somebody tells you to stop you should. Respect other players, don't PvP them if they don't want to.
- 3 - No Spamming or Advertising. Nobody plays on servers to listen to that! Please don't do it either.
- 4 - No Mods, Cheats, or Unfair Advantages. If you're caught with any of these we have no choice but to revoke your application. We don't want to have to do that!
- 5 - Pranks are 100% allowed! We love pranks! Harmless ones are totally okay as long as they don't conflict with rule 1 and 2!
- 6 - No Begging for items or administration ranks. It's pointless! All of our staff including myself play vanilla survival.
Not necessarily a rule, but here at The Bastion Network we encourage you to respect the world and fix any damage you create.

Now the point you may have been waiting for! Applying is super simple. You may post below, or at our website www.BastionNetwork.net! We enforce a strict age requirement of 16+ as we only accept active, mature and communicative members. Special dispensation may be requested on our forums.

Why do you want to apply to the server? - I love pure vanilla MC and playing with other people but other servers don't use the whitelist option and just get grief protection wih is annoying, all I wanna do is play pure vanilla with some people :)

No Sadly I have not been whitelisted before but id like a first time for everything ;) and yes I am you can take it from one of the servers I'm admin in I guarantee he will agree with me that I am one of his best players/staff yet!
Why would I like to join?:
I Would like to join this server because I want to be on a server where there is no problems like greif, or jerks who just play the game to get people mad and so I can be with other people who don't wanna worry about my house being greifed and be on the special kind of server I used to dream of.
What can I bring to the server?:
I can bring fun times happiness and maybe help build a bit here and there and be there for the server when it needs help give the server advice and a variety of ways to help the server be more popular.
What is my best skill in minecraft?:
My best skill in minecraft is survival, a lil bit of building and just havin a fun time if that can be a skill.

Yes, I have been banned from a server before but only because I was advertising on a popular server for the server I was helping out to grow my mission didn't go as well as I wanted it to that time but it gave enough players.
How much time could you contribute to the server?
from waaay early in the morning to 12am

Have you ever been a part of a whitelisted server before or a constant player on a
regular server? Give us an example of your experience I havent, no but i have been a helper on a towny server, but just recently had to say goodbye to all those good mates on that server not for any real reason i just wasnt into towny servers so much anymore.
Why would you like to join?:
I love MC SMP servers over all other servers because of the community. I like to help others out and communicate with everyone on the server, and you just cant get that on any other (Public) server out there.
What can you bring to the server?: I have been playing since late alpha and have been going multiplayer servers in early-mid beta. I like building creations for the good of the community and for my own enjoyment. I don't rage, if I were to leave, I would say my goodbyes and demote myself, not blow the server up first, and I see myself as a good member of your team. Maturity Level - 6.5/10: I love the common jokes, I have fun with what I do, I curse at times, and can do a lot of stupid things, though I am serious when the matter requires me to do so.
What is your best skill in minecraft?: My best skill would probably be redstone. I love working with redstone especially on SMP servers because it gives me a challenge when it comes to building large redstone contraptions. I am a good builder when i try though. Usually i come up with an idea and have to think about for a while then contruct it, tear it down, then re-build it. Basically whatever i build has to look nice so it takes me a while to achieve that.

Why do you want to apply to the server? I have trouble looking for Vanilla Minecraft servers all the time. With the recent 1.9 update, the old Vanilla Minecraft server my friend and I (Lawlbons) played on didn't work out well for us. I enjoy small and respective communities without Admins abusing their powers and I dislike "Survival" servers having so many plugins that don't make it Survival anymore. I apologize if my age is an issue.
Background info about you? I listen to quite a bit of music and have a Youtube Channel that I would love to record a Minecraft Vanilla Survival series on.
