In a small village none to barely no one, a short tale was spread
to let the children beware of their actions.

Upon the hill, lived a little young lady, as for
years she seemed to be a petite, sweet woman. Known for her
famous pumpkin pies that tasted like heaven, and kind smile.
Though what the townsfolk hadn't been aware of, is it had all been a clever
facade to fool them all.
The Pumpkin Witch's intentions were not to be cruel, but 'helpful' as she called it.
She dragged off the bad children whilst they were asleep, pulling them off to her humble
victorian style house. She pulled them into her home under the cover of darkness, as to not be caught by
any curious souls wandering under the moonlight. The floorboards would creak as a sign that she had
a new arrival, the heavy, yet small bodies being dragged through the house, and into the depths of
of her dark basement. Onto the stone table they went, as the womans silky voice echoed throughout the halls
of her house, chanting as by the time passed, the child's body would be missing, and in place, would be a plump,
and rough pumpkin.
The sun would rise, the people frantic as another child has gone missing. The Pumpkin Witch would soon
invite the unlucky parents to her home for a nice chat, trying to console them over their loss, as the couple would soon
be served a fresh slice of [i]pumpkin pie[/i]. By now, The Pumpkin Witch would call this a
victory, as she felt as though she rid the down of another unruly child, she did them a favor. Though,
if the town were ever to know what she had done, they surely wouldn't agree. By the time they had been
finished with their delicious pie, the only remains of their children, had been the crumbs on their plates.
Later on, the Pumpkin Witch striked again. Performing the action once again as another bad child began to cause
trouble, she pulled them away from their home during midnight, though on her way home, a man had stumbled
across the Witch, a child in her arms. He remained quiet, too afraid to approach her himself. He awaited by
her door, overhearing her chanting. The man fled, not brave enough to wait any longer, as when daylight came once again
he returned to her house, only to find it empty, and abandoned, all within one night. He wandered curiously through the
house, eventually stumbling across the basement where the Witch had been last seen, yet the child
was nowhere to be found. He made a quick assumption of what happened, storming out of the house to alert
the townsfolk of what the Witch had been doing all this time, as what he had seen in that basement, was truely frightening.
The tale was soon spread throughout the village, often being used as a warning to the children, that if they
didn't watch their actions, they might fall to be a victim of the Pumpkin Witch theirselves.

So, that was a really quick story I made just go along along with the skin. I thought it was kind of spooky,
like a creepy story for uh, Halloween?
