The mighty kingdom Baron would be lost without its genius airship technician, Cid. Mr. Pollendina is the lead engineer for the kingdom's Red Wings air force, a position he holds in high esteem. He's somewhat lacking in social graces, but he harbors a strong moral compass and a heart of gold. He acts as something of a father figure to Cecil Harvey and his love Rosa, and worries his own daughter with his tireless work ethic.

In battle, Cid wields a massive wooden hammer and a magical magnifying glass that allows him to see his enemies' weaknesses. He has few special abilities, but is more than capable of throwing around his considerable weight.
