Emerald! - Villain

It all started in the second World War. The Nazi scientists had been perfecting many types of scientific breakthroughs, including some not so public. The Nazis had found a way to materialize men into the essence that makes up the "soul." The process left the subject floating, intangible, and glowing with an ominous green aura. It was found that the green is the color of the soul essence. Unfortunately, to sustain a soul as a tangible being, one must possess a body and feed off the souls of others through fear. Fear weakens ones soul and allows Emerald the opportunity to take it. Before the war ended, the Nazis had built Emerald a body made of steel and other hard metals. The body was heavy, hard, and lifeless. When Emerald took up his body, it moved with ease, took enormous amounts of punishment, and glowed the same green he did. The Nazis inevitably fell apart under the united Russian and Allied assaults, although Emerald took no heed. He now wandered the world, inspiring fear in unsuspecting people and feeding on their souls.

I initially wanted to create a hero but in the middle of the design, I had the idea of Emerald and changed a few things. The inspiration came from a Western Steampunk/Wolfenstein type design and my admiration of magic. I tried to tie a lot of my interests into this skin, although this is only my second skin so I am hopeing for the best!

Updated!!! Emerald is now Version 2.0 :) New eyes and back and slight coloring change to help compete with all the other awesome skins out there!

Unfortunately this skin didnt make the top 100 :( although for only my second skin ever, I'm still proud of it!!! Hopefully I become a finalist in the next contest! Time will only tell.
