Asuka's Eva Unit it first saw combat against an ocean going Angel. Unit-02 had it's pilot replaced when Asuka couldn't sync with it anymore due to feeling inferior and it was replaced with kaworu, it was repaired and Asuka managed to Sync with it again, Unit-02's last battle was with the Mass Production Eva's which ended when it was pierced in the head with the Lance of Longinus and it was devoured by the Mass produced Eva's afterwards it was impaled with hundreds of spears after going berserk for the first time in the Anime, the last we see of it is just a head of the Eva it once was.
