Eva-04 was mentioned in the Original series and Rebuild but it was never seen due to it being destroyed in an Accident with the S2-Organ that led to Unit-03 (Bardiel) being Transferred to NERV Japan Branch. Although it was Never seen in the series or Rebuild GAINAX released artwork of the Eva that was colored silver but highly resembled Unit-03. It Appeared in the CR Neon Genesis Evangelion Game where Kaworu (the 17th Angel Tabris) used it to fight Ramiel . Unit-04 blocked the Angels blasts with a Eva sized Riot Shield and threw the Spear of Longinus through Ramiel killing the Angel. in spin off materiel Kensuke Aida is the Pilot of Evangelion Unit-04.
