Here's a tasty little frosted animal cracker, in the shape of a lion!
I'm not a fan of real circuses, but I did like Barnum's Circus Animal Crackers. You know, those little shortbread cookies that are shaped into forms that somewhat vaguely represent circus animals? These classic old cookies are called Barnum's Animals, named for the famous Barnum & Bailey Circus. Personally, I preferred the frosted ones - you could hardly figure out what kind of animal they were in the first place, so why not cover them with frosting for a tastier treat!
