These men had little to fear in the battlefield, as their 15th Century armor bested nearly all era-weapons that their foes, many of whom were peasants, tried to use. However, the only way that they were able to be killed was a lucky shot by a longbow or crossbow, mainly in the neck or armpits.

Knights like these would usually be placed at the reserve of an army, as they were very expensive to upkeep, and losing them would cost far too much for them to be used up at the front of the battle.

This specialized armor was regularly worn by Generals and Kings into battle
