The Harenam are a race of subterranean humanoids, created by Desolo, the goddess of death and the deserts of Zoris. They have pale skin and yellow eyes, as well as fiery red hair, and wear hooded robes to protect themselves from the beating sun in the Scorched Hills of Adustia. They are rarely seen coming out of the red sandstone structures to greet scholars wishing to join the Mage School in Adustia, but otherwise stay underground, where they have a large tunnel system through which they travel. They are very skilled in destruction Magic, and usually use this to their advantage in a fight or during war.
