Horus is one of the oldest gods in Egyptian mythology.

He is realized as the god of the sun, war, and protection. His head is that of a falcon.

This is his symbol the Eye of Horus.

I used the blue, and the gold, commonly used on Egyptian gods to create his outfit.

Horus is god of the sky, not the sun, the god of the sun is Ra, which looks similar to Horus, but other than that one mistake, it still is a really cool skin, good job. :)

Yes, there's already been controversy in the comments about that, whether he is sky god, sun god etc. Multiple Egyptian deities are attributed to the sun, Horus, with the thought that he was the sky, with his eyes being the sun and the moon.

So, I guess I could title it: Horus - Egyptian god of the sky with his eyes that represent the sun and the moon but that's not near as catchy.

this is a great skin and all, but get your facts right! Horus was the god of war, and Nut was the goddess of the sky! (yes, nut is a silly name, but look it up!)his animal is the falcon, and even though you got all this horribly wrong, it's one hell of a good skin so here's a diamond

You are exactly right, he is NOT the god of the sky, I don't know why I wrote sky, I believe I was going for sun. Yes, I know Ra is also the sun god, but there's a difference between the time the sun is up, as for when and how... but that's a different story.

If you read my written discription I do mention that he is also the god of war and protection, but thank you for pointing that out, I don't know why I made so silly a mistake.

true also there are many different stories about Egypt. in the one i heard in the morning, Ra is Khepri, in the day, he is Ra, and at sunset, in the underworld, he is Khnum,the ram-headed god
