This skin is for the Infections & Mutations Contest and I thought it'd be fun to make my own skin for it.
ok story time:
A few days ago, A virus ravaged a city. Luckily this virus has been contained within the city, but the inhabitants of the city were not so lucky. So recently I decided that I was going to explore this city to explain how it works.
To start off I might want to explain what the virus does. It seems to make the skin of the infected turn into this hazy yellowish green color. From a report I've received from scientists, they say that it forces the human body to work in overdrive, making the human heart produce an unreasonable amount of cells, and with that it causes hair, nails and other body parts to rapidly grow. But the downside is that It causes immeasurable pain to the body.
Though it seems that the Infected are in a somewhat unconscious state, as they seem to be under some kind of anesthesia, allowing for the body to take pain. Though the Infected are still physically alive, their minds have been lost, possibly though the effects of the anesthesia like substance flowing though their body.
Due to their minds being lost, they only can do basic things, like walk, breathe, attack, and eat. It also seems that this virus is spread through host to host via blood cells entering one body to the next. Which mean that if you get attacked or bitten, you are likely to turn into an infected.
This image here shows the results of humans after a week of being Infected, This girl used to be named Isabella, she was once a librarian, and she was liked by some of the inhabitants of the city, but after being infected. She was no longer the same person.
