When you are part of a rich family with plenty of issues you'd never think that your parents would sit there and neglect you more while trying to solve the problem by giving you a pet robot- right? It came on the doorstep in a box towering over me by at least one foot. The box was made of a thick wood and metal material that shimmered in the sunlight. Nowadays you just press the button by the address and the box will open itself. When the box opened the robot shined with a rainbow-like glow, that I figured was to impress children. As soon as the box opened the electronic face turned green and black dots peered back at me with a sudden curious look. A note was in it's hand that was given to me with care. It was from my parents that didn't bother to tell me about the present but instead typed up a note from a template the order form had with a pin on the corner that had a mini R.O.B.E.R.T. on it. From that day on Robby followed me around everywhere text flashing across his monitor when he had something to say.
A few days later Robby was being a servant and a therapist all at once. In months he was being torn against the girl's parents and the girl. A month after that he was reprogramed to follow the girl's parent's orders. Entirely ignoring the girl he went around his days cleaning, cooking, buying, and waiting. Mindless about the girl's inner turmoil, he continued to ignore her and go about his way for the parents, who praised him like he was their own. The girl knew it wasn't his fault but couldn't help feeling a terrible hatred towards her parents. One day she fixed the programming on Robby when he was waiting for orders and began telling him about how she felt for the past month, constantly spewing hate towards her parents. A few days after that the girl told him she wished they were dead. Robby blankly stared at her and walked out of her room. A few minutes passed and Robby came back seeming shinier than ever. The girl talked with Robby happily till she fell asleep thinking that Robby was the best friend she had ever had. Late in the morning the girl realized she never heard her parents leave the house. She sat in her room wondering until she went to check their room. As soon as she came within distance to see their room she could smell the pungent venomous smell of blood. Covering her mouth annd nose she opened the door, her eyes tearing up. Her parents dead bodies were laying on the ground maliciously beat with something heavy. As the girl sobbed kneeling on the ground unable to look at her parents feeling extremely noxious, Robby stood behind her with the blank smiling face, that he came in since he was opened in the box, watching the scene, waiting.
