This is the Mechanical Man. Want to hear his story? Well... okay. However, this story takes place in the future. You must promise that you will never tell anybody about these events before they happen.

World War III is raging. The United Nations has fallen apart, and every country is trying to take over and rule the world. There is one country that stands above them all: The United States of America. (Not being racist here, if this offends anyone.) And their leader is a man by the name of Ryan. In the war, he fights very bravely, and does anything that he can to help his country. However, there is one very important thing that he does: he discovers Ener-Z. This is a substance that can be used to power many things (a lot of things that electricity isn't advanced enough to power), and with the help of scientists, he starts a project. The goal? To build the most advanced war machine that will help America win the war. However, before the project is finished, Ryan is fatally wounded. While he is on the ground, gasping for breath, his closest friend in the army hears him whisper, "Make me... part... war... machine..." And his friend understands him. He rushes him to the scientists, and they start the most difficult part of the project: making Ryan become the war machine before his time runs out. The scientists are working as hard as they can, and Ryan is struggling to keep breathing, and just before Ryan is gone, the scientists insert the final plug. The Ener-Z that Ryan discovered reboots his heart, and in a history-making moment, the substance the Ryan discovered saved his life. He then became known as the Mechanical Man, and he helped America win the war. He was a hero.

About the skin:
The yellow stuff inside Ryan's mechanical parts is the Ener-Z, and it's coming from the energy pack on his back, which holds all of his power.
