Meriadoc Brandybuck (Merry, by his friends) is a Hobbit Living in Hobbiton and is Cousin to Frodo Baggins and goes on the quest with said Hobbit to destroy the One Ring.
His best friend is Peregrin Took who is also his cousin and together are cauptured by orcs.However, they narrowly escape thanks to some brief help from the Riders Of Rohan.
They meet Treebeard and attack Isengard.Later Merry and Pippin are seperated but re-united fighting together quickly.
In the end Merry doesn't get as much of a Story as anyone else(Samwise Gamgee gets married and well assumed Pippin does too and Frodo leaves on a voyage leaving Middle-Earth.
