Rolling back the clock to a time when the overworld was inhabited, we find the ancient Monument Dwellers. The hunters were those who shared the duty of obtaining food with the fishers and farmers. However, they would often be given much more than the former due to the danger of the creatures they would hunt. The arena keepers wanted ocean monsters for entertainment, the rich wanted glow squid as a delecasy, and there was almost always some creature causing an annoyance or rampage in the stone cities. Hunters had to have a bigger wardrobe than most for all the environments they would need to blend or stay alive in.
