This is Ombra Colletore. He is a character I created a while back. He was based off of Ubisoft's popular series Assassin's Creed.

His Story:

Ottavio was a young noble in Italy, year 1527. He loved to help the poor, and never caused much trouble. Because of his sympathy for the less fortunate than he, was always picked on and yelled at by the other rich-folk. Ottavio did not care, for he cared little in what they had to say. He felt good for helping the poor, and he continued to do it.

One very odd day, Ottavio was helping a beggar who was being harassed by a group of guards. The guards did not recognize Ottavio at first, so upon him confronting them, they were hostile towards him. They stabbed Ottavio, but it was too late by the time they saw who it was. The guards hid the body inside a bale of hay, hoping that by the time he was found, they would be long gone.

Three hours passed before Ottavio could move, but he instantly felt fully healed. No pain, no feelings, no nothing. Looking around, he climbed out of the hay and stood there, no wound, nothing. Confused he began to walk, before he fell in pain. It all suddenly rushed back to him, and he could not bear it. He noticed little except for a tall, slender man stalking towards him.

"Hello." The man said, "You must be Ottavio, correct?"

Ottavio attempted to nod, but could not move for the pain was too much.

"I am Thanatos, The Soulless, Death. Many names, one man. I have come to claim you, but not as a soul. You are to be my warrior, my soldier. My man of arms. Accept this position, and you shall have an endless life, and unstoppable powers!"

Ottavio hesitated. This man must be foolish! But then again, even if he was true to his word, it would be better than standing before the Judges at the Gates of Hades.

"I accept, my Lord Thanatos. I will serve you faithfully and well."
