Oroku Saki, a ninja warrior from Japan, founder and master of the NYC based crime syndicate known as "The Foot". He is trained in a variety of martial arts techniques and several types of weapons. Despite being thwarted by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on multiple occasions, his operations never seem to be influenced greatly by their intervention.

...if you were, then you would know that this is The Shredder, and that his name is actually Oroku Saki. This is the costume he wore in the original animated series, and most of the video games and comic books as well.
