not bad! congrats on 2nd place. i used to enter the contests, but have quit after seeing much worse skins score higher than my entries, which would suffice to say the judges are unreliable at best... they are looking for REALISTICALLY SHADED skins. and although i can do them that way, i prefer not to. i keep my skins in the style of the game. i want them to look slightly blockish and cartoonish, like they belong in the original Mojang game. check out my predator skins if you'd like!

By the way, I don't want you to take anything I have said as an insult.. upon looking at your skins I have found that you really do have an eye for a good skin. I'd really like to see you trying to add more shading and depth to your skins.

Your skins are consistently well made. I can understand people want a certain style to their skins, mine doesn't go overboard with the amount of different colours. I can't help but feel that when say they choose to use a simpler style, it sounds to me like they're making excuses for not trying hard enough.

But! that's coming from somebody who has a certain style and feeling on how things can be done. I believe that PMC makes no shaded skins seem ugly and old.. but in Minecraft, non shaded skins look perfectly fine. I guess to me, whilst I try and make my skins good for ingame.. it's in a way like a painting a picture, I wanna impress myself and others.

and onestly you both have the same skill he just had a better idea of what he was doing and his skin was to colorfully bright you get a diamond

Not at all. There is most definitely a username bias going on.

I'll be the first to say it. My own skin is more highly ranked than it should be. It should have been in 10th or 11th at best. There is something wrong here that must be fixed.
