Far below underground beyond the Deep Dark lies a forgotten and thought to be abandoned dungeon, inside this dungeon lies old battered bones and rusty devices designed for torture, the bones still attached to the said constructs.

But something has began stirring down there, adventures have winded up missing, the machines lubricated with fresh blood began moving again, screams are heard echoing from all over the cave system that they have even stirred up skulk sensors and awakened Wardens.

Rumors have amassed that once there was an ancient queen who ruled an underground kingdom, but she was a tyrant that enslaved and controlled her population. Her tyranny caused an uproar and the citizens rebelled and overthrew the queen, instead of executing her, they forced her to endure all of the instruments that she would use as punishment.

The last device that ended her suffering, was a cage that the human head is placed in, this device is heavy and uncomfortable, cold, jagged, and bears a device that not only pries your jaw apart but also impales your eyes simultaneously. This did not kill her immediately, after her flesh was torn and her eyes popped, they blindfolded her and dressed her in dirty prison garb, placed the cage back on her head, and threw her into the prison where she succumbed to the injuries.

The kingdom eventually fell to other enemy forces, but the queen passed before she witnessed the fall. The prison was briefly forgotten until explorers of the enemy kingdom came upon her corpse years later, strangely her injures appeared fresh, and her flesh looked not a day old, only her clothes and cage withered with time.

Before the explorers could collect her body for disposal, she snapped straight up in a blink of an eye, snapping noises echoed in the quiet cell. They gasped, with each step she snapped towards them as blood dropped from her wounds. She quicky grabbed the discoverers, and forced them into her torture contraptions, their pain and agony fueled and replenished her.

She soon became known as, Queen Agony...
