Something I really appreciate is that you tried both the blue highlight on the yellow and the yellow highlight on the blue. While the blue highlights get a bit hefty in time, they really appear a bit out of place due to their immense contrast, the yellow highlights on the blue are absolutely awesome and imo should be a great take-away for you from this skin. The contrast they contribute is just immense and it just doesn't seem jarring, even if the hue difference is as great as it is. So while the blue highlights is something I'd reconsider how to implement, I think you hit the yellow highlights in the blue palette right on the head of the nail.



I will also say that the blue works so well on the boots, where it engages a shadow-y role rather than highlight-y which just is a greatly suitable role for a blue, even if it is a light blue. The light blue in the skin tone (the nose) is also nicely implemented, if perhaps a bit unnecessary. The only really jarring colour choice is the blue highlights on the yellow and orange palettes, which all things considered, with how experimental the skin's colour choices are is a fantastic result. Great work and I hope you continue experimenting: Interesting colouring just helps elevate curiosity.



PS. Perhaps on the yellow you will find that a green tone could be better than a blue and that for the orange you don't really need the blue highlights at all.
