Young David was just a little lad when he first saw a Templar. He admired how strong and smart they were. Since age 6, David has wanted to be a Templar. When his father told him the stories of the great and mighty warriors. When David was about 15, he began to practice with a wooden sword out in the fields. For David's 18th birthday, his father bought him a steel long sword from the black smith in town.
Months had passed since David got the blade, and his father was greatly ill, David's mother thought he had the plague, but he didn't... It was much worse. No one knew exactly what it was, but... it took his life in a matter of days. David was very sad, he cried all week.
Two years had passed. David is now 20 and only him and his mother run the farm. David's mother had to go into town to buy a few things for the farm, so she set off. It was sunset now, and David has gotten worried. He went to bed. He woke up and shouted, "Mother! What's for breakfast?" ... No answer. David walked downstairs to his mothers room and found it the same it was yesterday morning. David was very worried now. He ran outside screaming for his mother, and never found her. He rushed to the city on horse back. When he arrived he went to the market... there had been an off-limits area there... a murder. David ran to the guards at the scene and asked them who it was... and they said his mothers name. David walked over to a bench and wept. He swore that day to avenge his mother.
David enlisted into the military 3 years ago after his mother had died, and he was now 23. He had protected the lives of the people of the city, as a matter of fact, he was almost head guard. He had found out who the killer of his mother was. He would stop at nothing to kill him, not even Death himself could stop him.
Another few months passed... and the guards gathered in the mead hall.
A Templar was there... and he was looking straight at David. He approached.
"Hi." Said David,
"Hello."
"I've always wanted to be a Templar."
"Then join us, we have been watching you."
After a conversation, the party ended.
Another 2 Years pass, now at age 25, David is an official Templar. He went to war not to long after he joined. He found out the enemies had sent the spy to his home, the ones who killed his mother. The battle was a crushing victory, and David slew the leader of the enemies himself.
The End
