Skarro is a miner who'll do anything for an couple of rubies. He has
been searching the underground caves for centuries, for his life is
eternal, as long as he keep his helmet on. He's looking for rubies for
his wife, who is probably long dead by now. If he were to go outside and
take his helmet off, he wouldn't die, for he'd only continue from the
age that he last took it off, which, in this case, was at the age of 26,
when he first got it. By now, he is most likely 378, and he is still
searching.
He does not have a sense of time, so an hour could seem like a
couple minutes to him. Many generations of his family has passed, and
quite a few things have been invented that help with his purpose, but he
continues underground, to show his appreciation to his loved one. He
has barely met anyone, and most whom he did meet, tried to kill him. You
could say he's crazy, and you'd almost be right, but not quite. He
hasn't lost much sanity down in the mines, even with all of the bats
which have flew by his face. And once he finally came out, he was 436
actual years, but 26 birth years, for that day, was his birthday. His
grandchild were happy to seem him, and none cared that he looked so
young. He started his own project to find rubies, the 'Gem-inator X'
which could've failed, if he hasn't remembered his plans for such a
thing when he was young, and still smart.
Once none looked like him, he
was worshipped as an 'Ancient' or saluted as 'The Main Miner', and from
then on, he continued to make it easier to mine, and also worked on
making it less harmful to the enviroment.
