i finally got this skin done :o

this is for SO's 3rd comp. the prompt was to make an oc from a favorite tv show, movie, video game, book, etc.
i was wondering about what to do for dayYYYyyYYys and I ended up doing this c:

this "oc" is based off of some of the child npcs in liyue in the game genshin impact c:
because of the upcoming lantern rite event and how it has fireworks and stuff (i think?), i decided to lightsource this in multiple bright colors to represent the fireworks!

it's also my first time using the opacity tool to lightsource, so i hope it turned out okay. <3

just a disclaimer: i really wasn't in the mood for writing an oc when i wrote this- IT WILL PROBABLY BE PRETTY BAD-
name: mei
age: probably 10, idk the age of genshin npcs.
small story:
mei was born in qingce village, but her family decided to move to the harbor when she was nine for other work opportunities. she discovered she had an interest in boats, and would often go down to the docks to watch them be constructed or to simply watch as the wind carried them in and out of the harbor. as the year went on, she heard conversations and rumors about the upcoming festival, and the way fireworks and lanterns would glow the sky. she looked forward to the day when she, too, could experience this light.
