Alsos, I know that as a beginner, I used this shading which is a very basic one which you can find everywhere. But once you think you have the ability to do your own, do it! Your skins will always look more unique with your own touch. Nowadays, I see (if I ever have a look on PMC) lots of skins with the same shading. It might look nice, but what I really want to see personnaly from a skin is it's creativity, it's ability to transform real life things to a limited space pixelised character. Not just stealing someone else's shading and using the same method for a hundred skins! Explore, try! If I have uploaded this skin to PMC it was because I thought it might help beginners. But I also want you to try and design.
