The Spee'chelle are a species of fairies that live on the high treetops of the Amazon Rain-forest.

Although their average height is merely 6", they can easily defend themselves from predators by gliding from tree-branch to tree-branch using their wings, which are too small the allow flight. What they lack in size, they gain in knowledge, and their second way of defending themselves is using their knowledge of alchemy of the Amazonian Rain-forest plants and stones to create poisons.

They use the leaves and bark of trees in the rain-forest to create clothes, leaving a hole in the back for their small wings.

Spee'chelle are herbivores and they use their knowledge of plants to find edible ones as their diet. To get water, they glide down to the plants and scrubs at ground-level and drink from the pools of water that some plants have. After gliding to ground-level, they climb back up the trees to their perch at the tree-tops.
